Community Tours

Most safari packages are coupled with a community tour to the nearest community nearing the game park or any tour destination because as Pamora safaris we believe in exposing our clients to give them a relatively wide spectrum of Uganda that is to support local communities sell their locally made handicrafts as they also entertain our visitors with their rich cultural dances and also inform our clients of their culture and norms.

Uganda has a wide cultural diversity and coming to Uganda without exposure to at least one local community may limit your adventure that’s why we warmly welcome you to take part in community visits as you plan for your itinerary so you can bond with the locals and get to know a few things about why we love Uganda.

Ichuya forest and surrounding of Bwindi impenetrable national park exposés you to the pygmies who survive on hunting and fruit gathering, neighbouring village of Kidepo valley national park exposes you to nomadic pastoralists with a like culture and physic with the Masai in Kenya among other local communities.
